Our Work

Promiseland Trust runs a range of programmes designed to support vulnerable children through care, nutrition, education, and long-term development.

Each programme responds to a real need within the community — helping children move from vulnerability toward stability, confidence, and opportun

Feeding Program

Nourishing Children, Supporting Learning

The Feeding Project addresses hunger through a daily soup kitchen and school feeding programmes across local primary schools.

Providing nutritious meals allows children to concentrate, participate in school, and develop in a healthier, more stable environment.

Beyond nutrition, this programme offers consistency, care, and a sense of belonging

Forming Program

Building Strong Foundations

The Forming Project is Promiseland’s Montessori-based preschool for children aged three to six.

This programme prepares children for primary school by developing early literacy, numeracy, social skills, and emotional confidence — helping them begin their educational journey with a strong foundation.

Foster Program

Providing Stability and Care

Promiseland’s Foster Care programme provides a safe and stable home environment for vulnerable children who require long-term support.

Beyond meeting immediate needs, the programme offers consistency, emotional care, and the opportunity for children to grow into independent and confident individuals.

Fun & Homework

Supporting Learning Beyond the Classroom

This after-school programme provides homework support, mentoring, and structured activities in a safe and encouraging environment.

Children receive academic assistance while also developing confidence, discipline, and social skills that support their long-term growth.

Farming Program

Growing Food, Growing Skills

The Farming Project supports sustainability by growing fresh produce used in Promiseland’s feeding programmes.

It also provides children with hands-on learning opportunities, teaching responsibility, practical skills, and environmental awareness.

Finish Line Project

A Second Chance to Move Forward

The Finish Line Project gives young people who were unable to complete school a second opportunity to achieve a matric-equivalent qualification through the GED programme.

Through structured learning, mentorship, and ongoing support, learners rebuild confidence, develop discipline, and create a clear pathway toward further study, skills training, or employment.

Supporting Every Step of the Journey

Each programme plays a role in helping children move from vulnerability toward opportunity.
Through consistent care, education, and community support, Promiseland creates a foundation for stronger futures.
